PL filters counter unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass, and sunlight. The combined use of these two filters allows you to create advanced photographs. The package includes the filters: ND4/PL, ND8/PL, ND64/PL, and ND256/PL. Each filter features a lightweight aluminum construction, weighing just over 1 gram, without affecting the calibration of the gimbal. The glass is multi-coated, resistant to scratches, dust, oily air, and moisture.
- ND4/PL: Ideal for dark days, blocks 2 stops of light (transmits 1/4 of light).
- ND8/PL: Ideal for cloudy days, blocks 3 stops of light (transmits 1/8 of light).
- ND64/PL: Used on very sunny days, blocks 6 stops of light (transmits 1/64 of light).
- ND256/PL: Used on very sunny days, blocks 8 stops of light (transmits 1/256 of light).
