The top player of the MMORPG Cross Reverie, Takuma Sakamoto, is summoned to another world and forced to play the role of the Demon Lord Diablo! After purchasing a new set of rings with the help of Sylvie, Diablo visits the capital. However, he becomes involved in a certain incident at the Magic Academy and ends up attracting the attention of the Order of the Knights of Palia. After being led to meet the king, Diablo grandly declares: "I am Diablo! A Demon from another world!" He accepts a quest from the king and heads south, where Rem's hometown is located.
