Purchased early 5/25 to replace a 55-inch Philips 5-year-old with many problems.

    POSITIVES
The Ambilight is EVERYTHING..!!! 5/5. It was the reason that despite having so many complaints about the previous one in terms of functions (it would turn off suddenly without reason, freeze terribly, raise the volume to the max, etc.). With Ambilight, you watch much more comfortably and with such a sense of image as if it gives you 20-30 more inches. (For those who don't know, it lights up the wall according to WHAT the screen is showing at that moment, making viewing much more realistic and comfortable)
    Very good picture AND sound,
    Fast Menu
Finally, you can watch movies and series via hard drive (USB) without issues, with a plethora of subtitle options (and .str - .txt - utf8, etc.) and audio.

    NEGATIVES
In the TITAN operating system, you CANNOT install apps (e.g., ANT1+ or anything in general) but have to choose from the already (several) pre-installed ones.
The control is very sophisticated and lacks a direct numeric pad for channel selection. You can activate it by pressing a button, and it appears on the control, otherwise, you change channels with + / -. (quite fast or at least faster than the previous one).
