It is truly a very beautiful desk!
The assembly is indeed a bit difficult because they provide a page with very general directions. Most of it you have to figure out on your own.
With a little patience, though, the assembly is a nice process – I didn’t do it all in one session. I first assembled the frame, put it in place, and in a second session I made the drawers, cabinet, back plastic pieces, and wall stabilization.

Some things I think will help anyone who doesn’t get the assembly service (which in my opinion isn’t necessary) are the following:
    - It’s better if two people assemble it. I did it alone but when I was putting the shelves in, I had to use objects to temporarily stabilize it.
    - Both packages need to be opened because some pieces for step 1 are in the long box.
    - In the first step, I didn’t know which piece to choose because there are no numbers on the wood, and I lost time there. For piece 8: you need to choose the one with the rail facing back and right. Piece 4 is the one with the rail at the back and left. And the small piece 9 has the rail facing down.
    - In this first step, if the desk is placed on a wooden floor, it’s good to install the leg nails (it’s not mentioned).
    - The mini+fix is a bit strange and it took me a while to understand how it works: you need to screw the blue piece very well into the small hole. I didn’t screw it well and then had to go back because I saw there were small gaps.
    - In the mini+fix, there is a small arrow on the metal round piece which should point towards the side of the hole before joining with the blue screw piece.
    - To separate the drawer slides: Open the guide completely until it stops. Somewhere in the middle, you’ll see a black plastic lever (like little ears). Push the lever up or down and at the same time pull the thin piece outwards. Now you have two separate parts.
    - The two number 21s are not long as in the instructions but square – better this way so the separation isn’t visible.
    - It says to assemble the top part separately and then join it, but I assembled the bookshelf on top of the desk – I think it’s easier.
    - On the back of the desk, you need to place those triangular plastic parts so the thin back part is stable. When placing them, make sure they are in spots that help with stabilization and that there isn’t solid wood at the front side because then it won’t help.
    - At the end, there are many screws left – I don’t know why but it’s not a problem.
    - It’s good to stabilize it to the wall at the end because it’s tall and will probably be heavy in the end.
    - For the bottom left cabinet, it says there was a brake on the right but mine didn’t have it.

There may have been 2-3 small issues with the instructions but overall it’s great VFM – it easily deserves 5 stars.
If I didn’t cover something, ask a question and I’ll try to answer.

First of all, I didn't like the packaging of the product because I believe that such fragile constructions must be protected with styrofoam... Everything was thrown together in 2 boxes... one of which was very heavy. Now let's talk about the assembly... it was a tragicomedy... I'll just say this: it took us an hour and a half just to figure out how to start and which piece goes where... The diagram included in the package is unacceptable... it doesn't help at all... and it's obviously not the first time we've assembled such things... To cut a long story short... it took us 5 hours to finish... The result is worth it, but still... a lot of hassle... if you decide to get it, you'll definitely need a Lexotanil before assembly...
