Length of the pen with cap on top is 15.2 centimeters. Closed, it measures 12.5 centimeters and weighs 24 grams.

The word TWSBI comes from the initials of the words "San Wen Tong" read backward and means in Chinese 'hall of three cultures.'

Emperor Qianlong created a monument to house the three great masterpieces of Chinese calligraphy. The word BI signifies the magic of writing tools.
