I've had the AlphaTheta Omnis-Duo for almost three months now and I can confidently say its positives and negatives.
I play many genres from soul, funk, RnB, jazz-rap, disco to House.
For me, accuracy, response, and speed are much more important than effects or other features needed for other types of music.

I mainly use Pioneer CDJ-3000, XDJ-1000, and the all-in-one RX3/RX2. So, due to Rekordbox and the ready USB sticks, I wanted a machine with a similar system, lighter, portable, and cheaper for secondary back-up.

Although it is two-channel, in size and functions it is closer to the Pioneer RR than the RX3.

Its biggest advantage is that it is indeed extremely lightweight and can operate on battery, without power. This makes it ideal for small bars that don't have space for a large booth, but also for villas or gardens where there is no power supply nearby.

    Another important positive is Bluetooth.
It can play on any BT speaker, from small JBL Go and Marshall to professional Mackie or Bose S1 Pro.
Additionally, it can also function as a Bluetooth input:
You pair, select a channel on the mixer, and play from your phone. This helps a lot for streaming from Spotify or YouTube, especially on devices like iPhone that don't have a mini-jack.
Important note: Bluetooth works either as a transmitter or as a receiver, NOT both at the SAME TIME. That is, you cannot have both Bluetooth output to a speaker and Bluetooth input from a phone at the same time.

It has all the basic effects of Pioneer mixers (8 Beat FX & 6 Sound Color FX)

It also has 8 Hot Cues and dedicated buttons for loops and beatjump.

In terms of connections, it offers XLR and RCA, each with its own volume for Master/Booth respectively.

    It also takes two microphones.

The response of the buttons and the jog wheel is very fast and stable. Generally very good.

    I'll continue with the disadvantages:

The main negative is that many functions are done via touch.
For example, changing filters, the EQ of the microphones, Sync, changing the pitch range from ±6 to Wide.

There is no classic Pioneer mixer knob for effects. At first, this is very tiring and inconvenient.
Now I'm used to it, but it's still less practical.

Also, there is no classic blue/orange button.

Another negative is you can't see anything in dark booths.

Another negative is it doesn't take a second USB.
For example, you can't play with a second (B2B).

Overall, it's a very good machine, but quite expensive for someone who just wants it for a hobby. If you don't need XLR, microphones, and full standalone operation, there are more economical solutions.

On the other hand, for professional DJs who want quick and immediate response, the small buttons and many touch functions may be a bit tiring and limit more demanding sets.

If someone is a professional and can afford it, get it as a second or for small sets in bars/houses. If someone is a beginner or of intermediate experience, maybe you don't need to spend so much money on the Omnis-Duo—there are more value solutions.

    I'll give it 4/5
