Unlike most reviews, my first experience with this coffee was disappointing. When I opened the first of the four packages I bought, I did not detect the expected strong aroma of freshly ground coffee. On the contrary, even when I brought my nose close to the package, the scent was almost nonexistent. My first thought was that I had been misled by (comments from others) and had made the wrong purchase, loading myself with four packages. However, I couldn't discard or return them due to the Skroutz privilege without trying them. After all, there are several branded coffees that, while releasing a strong aroma when opened, lose it during brewing, leaving a taste reminiscent of chickpeas. Despite my initial disappointment, I decided to brew a cup of coffee. With the first sip, my mood changed drastically. The coffee was excellent, with a rich aroma and flavor that thrilled me. When all four packages are finished, and if the aroma remains inadequate upon opening the others, I will buy the same coffee from a different supplier. This will help me determine if it's my sense of smell that's at fault or if the batch I received was old, resulting in it not retaining the fresh aroma of ground coffee upon opening.
