The genuine battery inflated and emptied within four hours. Knowing that batteries start to discharge from the day of their production and seeing negative comments, I was very skeptical if it was worth the 10 euros or if it would essentially be wasted.

Congratulations to the store that finally brought recently manufactured genuine batteries (specifically, I bought it in December and it had a manufacturing date of July '20). The phone simply transformed from dead to the good old G4.

I give it 5 stars instead of 4 because what it offers me is ideal in relation to the price and considering that the alternative is to have a power bank in hand in 2020, which is extreme if you're not holding a phone all day.

Also, knowing that the G4 has an AMAZING camera (the A71 I have doesn't impress me as much, no matter how strange it may seem), it's worth getting a genuine and recent battery and "reviving" it if you love the phone. Otherwise, it doesn't make sense.

The battery appears genuine (without being an expert) and seemed to be in excellent condition. The production date indicated on the battery itself was approximately 1 year and 2 months before the date of purchase. However, it behaved like an old battery: from the beginning, it had significantly reduced performance, which worsened very quickly, until it became useless after about 1 year and something. In comparison, the factory battery lasted approximately 3.5 years.

Unfortunately, as previous reviewers have mentioned, it did not last at all. Obviously, because they are old batteries, they die immediately. The bad thing is that this rendered an otherwise very good camera phone useless

I had bought it 6 months ago again because it was constantly shutting down. The previous new battery lasted well for a few months until a few days ago when it started not lasting even 1 hour on the phone. So, I decided not to buy another phone and to get another battery with the logic that it will last me a few more months.

The new battery that arrived after careful charging lasted not even 2 hours with 20 minutes of browsing in between. It's a tragic situation. The phone needs to be thrown away because there are no fresh batteries available in the market.

Quite a good battery. Its performance in terms of discharge time is close to the original factory one, but it is inferior. However, it is clearly better without being more expensive than other compatible batteries I have used. I recommend it as a quite satisfactory solution.

I bought a new battery after 2 and a half years of using the g4. The duration of the new battery seems to be the same as that of the used one. The new battery seems authentic, but I suspect that the poor performance is due to the fact that it stayed on the shelf for a long time and therefore it is also old. I don't think the store is to blame for this. This is how changing a mobile phone becomes a one-way street from a certain point onwards.

I bought the battery and after 1 year it swelled up, while the genuine one I had didn't have any issues except for not holding a charge for a long time due to usage since February 2016. I will not buy an unbranded one again because they only provide a sneaky 6-month warranty

The product appears completely authentic, and I received it in excellent condition despite being bulk. However, for a reason unknown to me, it seems to lack the performance/durability of the original battery that came with the phone when I bought it. Of course, the lifespan of a battery in a phone depends on many reasons/factors, but it still seems strange to me that the original battery, which is now 3 years old, has the same lifespan/endurance as the brand new battery. I don't believe the store is responsible for this, however, it is likely the "age" of the battery that I purchased.

Charges very quickly and also discharges very quickly. If you're okay with that, then it's fine. No comparison with the original battery!

I had one phone and I bought another one along with the original charger. In 2 years, both of them together don't last me a whole day.

As a battery, it's okay... No difference with its own... Be careful at the store where you will buy the battery to be genuine... Otherwise, it will swell one morning...

I have the battery for over a month and from the beginning, the phone shuts down at 40% and 50%. It shows 0% when I plug it in to charge and as soon as it turns on, it shows that it starts charging from 50%.

The cheapest ones are so bad that they will annoy you even more. The lid doesn't close properly, it doesn't charge more than 97%, and it shut down on me at 25%. Now I'm going to buy another one. I've had the g4 since it came out...

It does not fit on the phone, it goes in with difficulty. It does not charge to 100% at all. At 50%, the phone shuts down due to battery. Its duration is worse than my old battery that I have for 2 years. Contact the dealership for a new battery. Such a cheap battery is too good to be true.

It's a scam.. I bought two of them.. in two months it behaves like I've had it for three years. However, because I know how demanding the LG G4 is, I will buy another one and I will come back

Absolutely useless. Within a month, it started experiencing memory issues and shutting down while it was almost full. It's garbage. I put the old one back and I'm searching in vain to find a genuine one, even if I have to pay for it somehow.

The review concerns the specific product I purchased and not the G4 battery in general. I bought it and its behavior is completely different from the device's battery that came in the box. Apart from the appearance, which has very small differences compared to the old one as well as the new one I bought from the official service, in terms of phone operation, the temperatures are increased, the temperature sensor gives completely wrong values, about 10 degrees off, and I don't know if it just constantly shows 23.2 C (with the new one, it shows for the first time 30+ which is clearly a more realistic value, especially in the summer). Finally, about 90% of the time when taking a photo with flash, it turns off by itself and you have to remove the battery to reset it.

The battery is quite authentic. Of course, it also depends on where you buy it from. Simply put, the G4 has average battery life. This can be addressed by having a second battery.

No absolutely relation with the normal battery of the g4!! It discharges immediately and heats up easily!! I bought 2 batteries hoping that the first one was defective and both did the same!!

The battery doesn't last as long as it should, it discharges somewhat quickly. Of course, the old one didn't last at all after 6 months of use
