Slight deformations of the door seal are normal and do not affect its functionality. It is recommended to align the seal before installing it on the appliance. To do this, heat the door seal with a hairdryer or hot water and reshape it manually. The thickness of the new door seal may slightly differ from the thickness of the old seal. This difference does not affect the airtight closure of the door or the long-term operation of the seal. If your appliance has adjustable hinges or hinge bracket connectors, you can optimize the closing behavior later. The small side holes in the door seal are for proper functioning (needed for ventilation). These are not considered manufacturing defects.
