The Ilford PQ Universal Paper Developer is a liquid concentrated paper developer, ideal for RC and FB photographic papers. It has excellent keeping properties and provides high contrast, while delivering a slightly warmer tone compared to the Ilford Multigrade Developer.

It is not recommended for use in high-grade enlargements and is not suggested for general processing of black and white 35mm film or sheet film, nor at high temperatures.

The recommended dilution is:

  • 1 + 9 (high contrast)
  • 1 + 19 (pictorial contrast)

Recommended for use at room temperatures: 20 °C.

Dilute 1 + 9 + 1 or 4 for regular work. Dilute 1 + 9 or 1 + 19 for technical work or sheet films.
