Euphorbia aeruginosa belongs to the Euphorbiaceae family. It is a highly decorative variety that forms a low bush 15-30 cm tall. Its stems are blue-grey or brown-green in color with many brown spines.
The plant thrives well in porous and well-drained substrate and does not have specific soil type requirements. It can tolerate rain during both Summer and Winter and can be watered throughout the year, except during the colder months of Winter. Mature plants can remain in outdoor conditions year-round in areas with mild Winters.
It requires ample light to maintain its compact growth, and exposure to full sun positions should be done with gradual adjustment. It blooms profusely and impressively.
Warning: Like all euphorbias, when a stem is cut, it releases a white, milky liquid (latex), which can cause irritation upon contact with the skin. Avoid contact with the mouth or eyes.
