    It works very well, without any disconnections.

    In its factory form, it "brings" whatever input voltage it has to the output when activated. So if you supply it with 12V, the output will produce 12V when activated, as if someone is opening a power supply.
    The output can easily be converted to a relay by removing two resistors (there are videos on YouTube). This way, the output is separated from the power supply and the output simply works as a switch. I found it much more useful this way.
