Description & Specifications

Pot size: 8.50 cm

Height: 20 cm

The Pilea mollis "Moon Valley" is an impressive indoor plant with unique, textured leaves. Its leaves are lime green and wavy with dark copper streaks, resembling the craters on the surface of the moon. Ideal for terrariums, it loves humidity and remains relatively small. It tolerates low light levels.

The Pilea "Moon Valley" is native to Central and South America. The leaves are bushy and have a vivid yellow-green color with dark copper veins. Although it does not require much sunlight to thrive, it prefers humid environments.

The genus Pilea comes from the Latin word "pileus," meaning "hat," referring to the shape of its tiny, pink and green flowers. It works perfectly in a terrarium or as a plant in an east or north window, as well as in a west or south window with some obstruction from direct sunlight. The "Moon Valley" stands out due to its bright color and unique texture, contrasting beautifully with other plants.
