The alarm features extremely bright LED lights with a long lifespan and is powered by a 9V battery for long-term use. A key feature is the low battery level notification, which alerts with sound and LED light when the level goes below 5V. Additionally, the TOTEM allows for testing of all its functions.

It has 4 volume levels, including a silent mode, 4 different sounds, and 4 sensitivity levels. The night LED connection is useful for night fishing. The 2.5mm socket allows for connecting a visual alarm for the rod. The thick rubber coating at the contact point with the rod prevents damage.

Upon activation, the alarm lights up for 15 seconds. The receiver is powered by 3 AAA batteries and features a detachable case for customization, e.g., to a belt. A durable carrying case is included for safe transport and protection of the set, supporting a 4+1 arrangement.
