Camargue is a board game that invites you to create the landscape of the coastal area of southern France by placing tiles one after another.

For the initial setup, place the starting tile on the game board and give each player three tiles. The tiles come in five landscape types with 2-4 paths leading to 2-4 edges, as well as auxiliary tiles showing two landscape types. All landscape tiles feature an emblem indicating how they should be placed when played.

During your turn, you can either play an auxiliary tile from your hand and earn 10 points, or play a landscape tile that extends at least one existing path on the game board without cutting any path. After this action, you earn points equal to the number of consecutive tiles of the landscape type you just placed, multiplied by the number of edges the tile you just placed touches.

If you have three tiles in your hand, with at least one of them being auxiliary, you can play out of turn. If another player earns points for a landscape type that exists on an auxiliary tile in your hand, you can discard that auxiliary tile to earn as many points as the active player earned. On your next turn, you do nothing except draw a tile.

After all tiles have been played, the player with the most points wins.
