The monitor is amazing for its price! It is not made from expensive materials but its technology for 167 euros is extremely good. It needs a bit of tweaking in the settings and a decent graphics card and you will be quite happy.
Now about the package, as it arrived I don't have much to say. Everything was fine, until I realized that it had protective films on the plastic side panels... not on the screen.

Very good monitor, I use it daily for games and work, I have it for about a year and I have no problems. The only thing I don't particularly like is how huge the stand is and how much space it takes up on the desk, but at least it is incredibly stable

After 3 years the panel burned out (it has a two-year warranty while most monitors have 3) without even much use, not like it was in an Internet cafe or an office being used all day. The curved design is nice, I won't deny that, but now that I got an AOC IPS I understand the difference and why most people criticize VA panels. I think the panel's problems are now well known and Samsung does not admit its mistakes; when I called them, they even asked for 50 euros for the visit. Nice screen for 1440p gaming as it also has a good refresh rate and since it is curved it helps the colors appear more vivid. I've had it for a year and it hasn't had any problems, but I've noticed that it goes into rest mode by itself every 10 minutes, which is good for the energy it consumes, since it is a lot, but it can be quite annoying when you use it to watch something for a long time and you have to click your mouse every 5 minutes so it doesn't turn off.
Ωραία οθόνη για gaming 1440p καθώς έχει και καλό χρόνο ανανέωσης και αφού είναι και κυρτή βοηθάει στο να φαίνονται πιο έντονα τα χρώματα. Την έχω εδώ και έναν χρόνο και δεν έχει βγάλει πρόβλημα αλλά έχω παρατηρήσει πως μπαίνει σε rest mode από μόνη της κάθε 10 λεπτά, το οποίο είναι καλό για την ενέργεια που καταναλώνει, μιας που είναι και πολλή, αλλά μπορεί να είναι αρκετά σπαστικό όταν το χρησιμοποιείς για να βλέπεις κάτι πολλή ώρα και να πρέπει να πατάς το ποντίκι σου κάθε 5 λεπτά για να μην κλείσει.

1 thing I didn't like is that the blue light on the screen stays on all night if I don't unplug it and it bothers me. I have it in the same room where I sleep. I don't know if all monitors are like this though. Other than that, I like it a lot!

After owning this monitor for two months of perfection best response time colours and overall quality and experience it was perfect but that all changed when i left for a three day trip and came to find it cracked after research i found that this exact model has problems like this where after a short tike of normal use it cracks on its own after contacting the shop it refused ti cover it under warranty saying it was damage caused by me, contacted samsung themselves and they said most likely it wont be covered but they will send it to the headquarters in Athens or viewed by a technician here im now waiting for a response and i will update you

Either I'm doing something wrong or the screen doesn't have adjustable height/tilt. Tragic, I would have preferred to pay a bit more to get an adjustable screen...

A very good choice for an affordable monitor. I had the classic AOC Curved 144hz which fell and broke, so I wanted to find a cheap, good curved monitor option, and so this Samsung covered me. With its price, it offers a very satisfactory 2K (1440p) resolution with 165hz, 27 inches, which is the best for covering my entire field of vision when I play games and get lost in the screen. Very good purchase, I've had it for a month and a bit, I recommend it 100%

Ειχα την κλασσικη AOC Curved 144hz η οποια μου επεσε και εσπασε οποτε ηθελα να βρω μια φθηνη καλη επιλογη curved οθονης, και λοιπον αυτη η samsung με καλυψε με την τιμη της προσφερει μια πολυ ικανοποιητικη αναλυση 2Κ (1440p) με 165hz 27 ινστες που ειναι οτι καλυτερο για να καλυπτει ολη την περιοχη των ματιων μου οταν παιζω games και χανομαι μεσα στην οθονη. The screen was good while it lasted (2 weeks). Everything was going fine, and suddenly the right side darkened and also got hot, as you can see in the photo (I put the white background so the black spot that appeared on the screen would show), I have tried everything. I turned it off and on, a faint sound is heard for a second, it gets fixed, then breaks again and stays that way. I have searched everywhere for solutions but Samsung's website provides no help and no software update for my screen model which is LS27CG552EUXEN. In the end, I found a driver, downloaded it, but nothing changed.
Edit: The problem was fixed by the service sent to me by Samsung's representative. The screen is fine, it hasn't had any issues so far. There was a small flickering which disappeared after a screen restart.
Edit 2: After another return of the screen to service, a problem with the flickering of the backlight LEDs reappeared, it was sent back to me. It had a problem again the second it was turned on right in front of my eyes.
Not a good experience at all with this screen, it's better to get an LG
Η οθόνη ήταν καλή όσο κράτησε (2 εβδομάδες). Πολύ καλή όλα πήγαιναν μια χαρά, και ξαφνικά η δεξιά μεριά σκουρενη αλλά και ζεστενεται, όπως βλέπετε και στην φωτογραφία (το άσπρο φόντο το έβαλα για να φανεί το μαύρο που βγήκε στην οθόνη), έχω δοκιμάσει τα πάντα. Την έκλεισα την άνοιξα, ακούγετε ένας λεπτός ήχος για ένα δευτερόλεπτο, φτιάχνετε, ξαναχαλάει και μένει έτσι. Εχω ψάξει παντού για λύσης αλλά η σελίδα της Samsung δεν παρέχει καμία βοήθεια και κανένα software update για το μοντέλο της οθόνης μου που είναι LS27CG552EUXEN. Στην τελική βρήκα έναν driver τον κατέβασα αλλά δεν άλλαξε τίποτα.
Edit: Διορθωθηκε το προβλημα απο το σερβις που μου σταλθηκε απο την αντιπροσωπεια της Samsung. Η οθονη ειναι μια χαρα δεν εχει βγαλει καποιο θεμα μεχρι στιγμης. Ειχε ενα μικρο flickering το οποιο με μια επανεκκηνιση της οθονης εξαφανηστικε.
Edit 2 : Επειτα απο αλλη μια επιστροφη της οθονης στο σερβις ξανα εμφανιστηκε ενα προβλημα με το flickering που εκαναν τα backlight led, σταλθηκε ξανα σε εμενα. Εβγαλε παλι προβλημα το δευτερολεπτο που ανοιχτηκε μπροστα στα ματια μου.

This is the second one I bought. The first one is still with us, unstoppable. Both times I found a deal and it cost me €175-185. So for that money, there is no comparison. At first, until you get used to the feeling, you might feel a bit.... but then you just can't let go... And both screens combine with mid-range graphics cards and perform amazingly. They work 12 hours on average with heavy use. I've had the one for 2 years already without any issues.

Όποτε σε αυτά τα λεφτά δεν υπάρχει καν σύγκριση. στην αρχή μέχρι να συνηθίσεις την αίσθηση θα νιώθεις κάπως.... αλλά μετά απλά δεν ξεκολλάς... Και οι δύο οθόνες συνδιάζονται με mid range κάρτες γραφικών και αποδίδουν εκπληκτικά. δουλεύουν 12 ώρες σε μέση με βαριά χρήση. την μια την έχω ήδη 2 χρόνια χωρίς θέμα.

The monitor is amazing for its price! It is not made from expensive materials but its technology for 167 euros is extremely good. It needs a bit of tweaking in the settings and a decent graphics card and you will be quite happy.
Now about the package, as it arrived I don't have much to say. Everything was fine, until I realized that it had protective films on the plastic side panels... not on the screen.
Untouched nonetheless, I was lucky!

Very good monitor, I use it daily for games and work, I have it for about a year and I have no problems. The only thing I don't particularly like is how huge the stand is and how much space it takes up on the desk, but at least it is incredibly stable

Very good choice for its price (160 euros). The image quality is incredible. The blacks are very nice and it has countless settings to adjust it to your preferences.

Nice screen for 1440p gaming as it also has a good refresh rate and since it is curved it helps the colors appear more vivid. I've had it for a year and it hasn't had any problems, but I've noticed that it goes into rest mode by itself every 10 minutes, which is good for the energy it consumes, since it is a lot, but it can be quite annoying when you use it to watch something for a long time and you have to click your mouse every 5 minutes so it doesn't turn off.
Ωραία οθόνη για gaming 1440p καθώς έχει και καλό χρόνο ανανέωσης και αφού είναι και κυρτή βοηθάει στο να φαίνονται πιο έντονα τα χρώματα. Την έχω εδώ και έναν χρόνο και δεν έχει βγάλει πρόβλημα αλλά έχω παρατηρήσει πως μπαίνει σε rest mode από μόνη της κάθε 10 λεπτά, το οποίο είναι καλό για την ενέργεια που καταναλώνει, μιας που είναι και πολλή, αλλά μπορεί να είναι αρκετά σπαστικό όταν το χρησιμοποιείς για να βλέπεις κάτι πολλή ώρα και να πρέπει να πατάς το ποντίκι σου κάθε 5 λεπτά για να μην κλείσει.

1 thing I didn't like is that the blue light on the screen stays on all night if I don't unplug it and it bothers me. I have it in the same room where I sleep. I don't know if all monitors are like this though. Other than that, I like it a lot!
1 πράγμα δε μου άρεσε ότι το μπλε λαμπάκι της οθόνης καίει όλο το βράδυ αν δε τη βγάλω απ'τή πρίζα και με ενοχλεί. Την έχω στον ίδιο χώρο που κοιμάμαι. Δεν ξέρω αν είναι όλες οι οθόνες έτσι όμως. Κατά τα άλλα μου αρέσει πολυ!
After owning this monitor for two months of perfection best response time colours and overall quality and experience it was perfect but that all changed when i left for a three day trip and came to find it cracked after research i found that this exact model has problems like this where after a short tike of normal use it cracks on its own after contacting the shop it refused ti cover it under warranty saying it was damage caused by me, contacted samsung themselves and they said most likely it wont be covered but they will send it to the headquarters in Athens or viewed by a technician here im now waiting for a response and i will update you

Either I'm doing something wrong or the screen doesn't have adjustable height/tilt. Tragic, I would have preferred to pay a bit more to get an adjustable screen...

A very good choice for an affordable monitor. I had the classic AOC Curved 144hz which fell and broke, so I wanted to find a cheap, good curved monitor option, and so this Samsung covered me. With its price, it offers a very satisfactory 2K (1440p) resolution with 165hz, 27 inches, which is the best for covering my entire field of vision when I play games and get lost in the screen. Very good purchase, I've had it for a month and a bit, I recommend it 100%

Ειχα την κλασσικη AOC Curved 144hz η οποια μου επεσε και εσπασε οποτε ηθελα να βρω μια φθηνη καλη επιλογη curved οθονης, και λοιπον αυτη η samsung με καλυψε με την τιμη της προσφερει μια πολυ ικανοποιητικη αναλυση 2Κ (1440p) με 165hz 27 ινστες που ειναι οτι καλυτερο για να καλυπτει ολη την περιοχη των ματιων μου οταν παιζω games και χανομαι μεσα στην οθονη. Πολυ καλη αγορα την εχω ενα μηνα και κατι, την προτεινω 100%

The monitor is excellent for its price and has a difference from anything I have tried so far, however, I encountered a problem that seems like the monitor is glitching with the fringing. I disabled it and will update the firmware and will update the review

This screen is good for everyday and simple use, not for anything more. In games with many details and good graphics, it struggles and everything looks blurry.

The screen was good while it lasted (2 weeks). Everything was going fine, and suddenly the right side darkened and also got hot, as you can see in the photo (I put the white background so the black spot that appeared on the screen would show), I have tried everything. I turned it off and on, a faint sound is heard for a second, it gets fixed, then breaks again and stays that way. I have searched everywhere for solutions but Samsung's website provides no help and no software update for my screen model which is LS27CG552EUXEN. In the end, I found a driver, downloaded it, but nothing changed.
Edit: The problem was fixed by the service sent to me by Samsung's representative. The screen is fine, it hasn't had any issues so far. There was a small flickering which disappeared after a screen restart.
Edit 2: After another return of the screen to service, a problem with the flickering of the backlight LEDs reappeared, it was sent back to me. It had a problem again the second it was turned on right in front of my eyes.
Not a good experience at all with this screen, it's better to get an LG
Η οθόνη ήταν καλή όσο κράτησε (2 εβδομάδες). Πολύ καλή όλα πήγαιναν μια χαρά, και ξαφνικά η δεξιά μεριά σκουρενη αλλά και ζεστενεται, όπως βλέπετε και στην φωτογραφία (το άσπρο φόντο το έβαλα για να φανεί το μαύρο που βγήκε στην οθόνη), έχω δοκιμάσει τα πάντα. Την έκλεισα την άνοιξα, ακούγετε ένας λεπτός ήχος για ένα δευτερόλεπτο, φτιάχνετε, ξαναχαλάει και μένει έτσι. Εχω ψάξει παντού για λύσης αλλά η σελίδα της Samsung δεν παρέχει καμία βοήθεια και κανένα software update για το μοντέλο της οθόνης μου που είναι LS27CG552EUXEN. Στην τελική βρήκα έναν driver τον κατέβασα αλλά δεν άλλαξε τίποτα.
Edit: Διορθωθηκε το προβλημα απο το σερβις που μου σταλθηκε απο την αντιπροσωπεια της Samsung. Η οθονη ειναι μια χαρα δεν εχει βγαλει καποιο θεμα μεχρι στιγμης. Ειχε ενα μικρο flickering το οποιο με μια επανεκκηνιση της οθονης εξαφανηστικε.
Edit 2 : Επειτα απο αλλη μια επιστροφη της οθονης στο σερβις ξανα εμφανιστηκε ενα προβλημα με το flickering που εκαναν τα backlight led, σταλθηκε ξανα σε εμενα. Εβγαλε παλι προβλημα το δευτερολεπτο που ανοιχτηκε μπροστα στα ματια μου.
Καθολου καλη εμπηρια με αυτην την οθονη, προτειμοτερο να παρει κανεις μια LG
This is the second one I bought. The first one is still with us, unstoppable. Both times I found a deal and it cost me €175-185. So for that money, there is no comparison. At first, until you get used to the feeling, you might feel a bit.... but then you just can't let go... And both screens combine with mid-range graphics cards and perform amazingly. They work 12 hours on average with heavy use. I've had the one for 2 years already without any issues.
Είναι η δεύτερη που αγοράζω. Η πρώτη εδώ ακόμα μαζί μας ακάθεκτη. Και τις δύο φορές βρήκα προσφορά και μου βγήκε 175-185€. Όποτε σε αυτά τα λεφτά δεν υπάρχει καν σύγκριση. στην αρχή μέχρι να συνηθίσεις την αίσθηση θα νιώθεις κάπως.... αλλά μετά απλά δεν ξεκολλάς... Και οι δύο οθόνες συνδιάζονται με mid range κάρτες γραφικών και αποδίδουν εκπληκτικά. δουλεύουν 12 ώρες σε μέση με βαριά χρήση. την μια την έχω ήδη 2 χρόνια χωρίς θέμα.

Το μόνιτορ είναι εκπληκτικό για τα λεφτά του!
Δεν είναι κατασκευασμένο από ακριβά υλικά αλλά η τεχνολογία του για 167 ευρώ είναι υπερβολικά καλή. Θέλει λίγο επεξεργασία στις ρυθμίσεις και μια βιώσιμη κάρτα γραφικών και θα είστε αρκετά χαρούμενοι.
Τώρα για το πακέτο, όπως μου ήρθε δεν έχω να πω πολλά. Όλα καλά, μέχρι που συνειδητοποίησα ότι είχε μεμβράνες προστασίας στα πλαστικά πλαϊνά πάνελς του... όχι στην οθόνη.
Άθικτο παρόλα αυτά, είχα άγιο!
Very good monitor, I use it daily for games and work, I have it for about a year and I have no problems. The only thing I don't particularly like is how huge the stand is and how much space it takes up on the desk, but at least it is incredibly stable
πάρα πολύ καλή οθόνη την χρησιμοποιώ καθημερινά σε παιχνίδια και δουλειές την έχω περίπου έναν χρόνο δεν έχω κανένα πρόβλημα το μόνο που δεν συμπαθώ ιδιαίτερα είναι το ποσό τεράστια βάση έχει και πιάνει πολύ χώρο στο γραφείο αλλά τουλάχιστον είναι απίστευτα σταθερή
After 3 years the panel burned out (it has a two-year warranty while most monitors have 3) without even much use, not like it was in an Internet cafe or an office being used all day. The curved design is nice, I won't deny that, but now that I got an AOC IPS I understand the difference and why most people criticize VA panels. I think the panel's problems are now well known and Samsung does not admit its mistakes; when I called them, they even asked for 50 euros for the visit. Note that it was bought for 220 euros—I wouldn't recommend it even at 170
Στα 3 χρονια καηκε το panel(εχει δυο χρονια εγγυηση ενω τα περισσοτερα μονιτορ εχουνε 3) χωρις καν πολυ χρηση που να εμπαινε σε κανα Internet cafe η σε κανα γραφειο να την δουλευουν ολη μερα ωραιο το curved δεν λεω αλλα τωρα που πηρα aoc ips καταλαβαινω την διαφορα και γιατι ο περισσοτερος κοσμος κραζει τα va panels.Νομιζω ειναι πλεον γνωτα τα προβληματα του πανελ και η samsung δεν παραδεχεται τα λαθη της οταν του πηρα τηλεφωνο μου ζητησαν και ενα 50ρικο για την επισκεψη.Να σημειωθει οτι αγοραστηκε στα 220 ευρω δεν θα την προτεινα ουτε στα 170
