Description & Specifications

At SHOWOOD, the most durable polycarbonate sheets, certified, with UV protection, have been secured.

Weight of polycarbonate 10mm per square meter = 1.6kg.

The polycarbonate sheets:

  • Are suitable for waterproofing, installed on pergolas, entrances, kiosks, greenhouses, etc.
  • Are installed in combination with other materials (e.g., pergolas with reed and polycarbonate, pergolas with fabric and polycarbonate, etc.) for shading and waterproofing.
  • Maintain the natural brightness of the space.
  • Have protection from ultraviolet thermal radiation (UV Resistance).

Brief installation instructions for polycarbonate sheets:

  • The minimum slope of the roof should be 5%.
  • The ribs are always placed in the direction of the slope. In a sheet of 2.10 x 6.00m, the ribs follow the 6-meter dimension.
  • The cellular polycarbonate sheets have UV protection from the sun on one side. To ensure the warranty, this side must be placed facing up - towards the sun. The side is the one with the letters (of the protective film).
  • Before installation, polycarbonate sheets should be stored in a place not affected by solar radiation.
  • The protective films should be removed immediately before or after installation because solar radiation affects them.
  • The sheets are always curved along their length.

Provided the polycarbonate sheets are installed according to their specifications, they are covered by a 10-year warranty, which covers discoloration, reduction of light transmission, and reduction of the sheets' resistance to mechanical stresses.
