  • RPM (Revolutions Per Minute)

This concerns the number of revolutions per minute that the drum can make. Usually ranging from 600 to 1600 depending on the washing machine, however up to 1200 revolutions can meet most of our needs. When the revolutions are high, the clothes come out drier and thus reduces the drying time.

    2. Indicatively, cotton and mixed fabrics can be washed in a program with 1000 revolutions, while more delicate fabrics such as wool and silk in a program with 600 revolutions.

  • Number of Programs

The set of programs included in the washing machine. The more programs, the more options for washing clothes.

  • Energy Class

New energy efficiency scale consisting of classes A, B, C, D, E, F, G. Devices with class A (green) have the lowest energy consumption, while devices with class G (red) have the highest consumption.

For example, for an 8 kg washing machine, if we want to move from class F to A, we save about €10 annually from electricity consumption. While the transition between consecutive classes is almost negligible in annual cost.

It is worth noting that there is no correspondence between the old and the new energy efficiency scale. You can find detailed information about the New Energy Label in Skroutz's guide.

  • Capacity

The maximum weight of dry clothes that the washing machine can handle. For the needs of a family of four, a washing machine with a capacity of approximately 8kg is recommended. From 9kg and above, in addition to many clothes, it can also accommodate duvets or blankets.

Very good washing machine with quite a few programs, even a 15-minute one. Quiet and spins the clothes completely, they come out almost dry!!! HOWEVER, under no circumstances is the washing machine 12kg... the 10kg Morris we had before could fit almost twice as many clothes as this one!!! So be careful if you want it for large quantities of clothes, i.e. for a family, do not buy it, it does not fit!!!
