Uro-Tainer® PHMB (Polihexanide 0.02%)

Sterile solution for the preservation and removal of bacteria for urinary catheters and suprapubic catheters with polihexanide (PHMB) 0.02%. Composition of 100 ml of solution contains:

• Polihexamethylene biguanide (polihexanide, PHMB) 0.02 g.
• Sorbitol 5.0 g.
• In sterile water

Solution for the maintenance of permanent urinary catheters and suprapubic catheters to facilitate the removal of tissue residues, clots, and mucus. Uro-Tainer® Polihexanide 0.02%, with the preservative properties of Polihexanide (PHMB), helps reduce bacterial colonization of the catheter and maintains good hygiene throughout the use of the urinary catheter. For the prevention of urinary tract infections as a result of permanent catheterization. Uro-Tainer® Polihexanide 0.02% is a ready-to-use, single-use solution. It consists of a PVC-free pouch containing 100ml of sterile solution, a flexible tube with a clamp, and a sterile connector.
