Turkish Coffee Pot from the Burgundy Metallic series by Berlinger Haus

  • Ideal for brewing coffee, tea, and warming milk
  • Easy to clean and use (dishwasher cleaning not recommended)
  • Suitable for ceramic, gas, and electric stovetops (not for induction)

Brewing Turkish coffee is done using a special pot called cezve. Turkish coffee does not contain milk and is served in small cups called demitasse.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon ground coffee
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom or 1 whole cardamom
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)

Preparation method:

To prepare Turkish coffee, we need a cezve. Add the coffee to the cezve, along with the sugar, and pour the water. Place the cezve on the heat and keep it there until foam appears. Remove the foam and place it back on the heat. This process is repeated three times. Remember - Turkish coffee should NOT boil! Pour the coffee directly from the cezve into the cups. Enjoy!
