The AMILA Black R Slim Olympic-type plate series is made from high-quality 100% pure virgin rubber combined with steel. The allowable weight variation is +/-1%, meaning for a weight of 20Kg, the acceptable variation reaches 200gr. They are ideal for CrossFit, where absolute weight accuracy is not the primary concern.

Rubber Hardness:

The Shore Durometer is one of the measurements we can make on the rubber. A high measurement (i.e., high hardness) means less bounce on drops. Major companies in the competition range between 78 and 88 measurement units. The rubber used in AMILA products even exceeds the maximum values of the competition, demonstrating the high standards of choices.

A-Plates Slim Edition:

The AMILA Black R series belongs to a category of Bumpers called A-Plates. This category is made from a special rubber blend. The surface layer is softer, offering greater floor protection and noise reduction, while the inner layer is harder for increased durability. In the core of the plate (from 10Kg and above), a piece of steel has been added to reduce the thickness of the plate without reducing its lifespan or bounce capability. This way, you can load more weight on press machines or bars.

Plate Design:

All plates have the same diameter (Ø45cm) at all weights. The only difference is the thickness. The rubber color is black, while the AMILA logo and weight are embossed in red, making them distinguishable.
