    Modern days TDK? I don't know, but the legendary TDK D is not (which basically is the king of "budget" type I).

    Anyway, it does a good capture but gave me a more subdued feeling compared to TDK D. Also, at its price, you can clearly find better ones. In no case is it a bad cassette, however.
