ISOLfon-Barrier is a soundproofing membrane that enhances soundproofing capability in lightweight and dry construction. It is an elastic material with high surface weight, small thickness, high mechanical strength, and flexibility, capable of providing significant soundproofing. Its composition consists of an unreinforced polymer blend with the addition of inert materials. It is environmentally friendly and does not contain bituminous mixtures or lead.

It can be applied over a wide range of temperatures, maintaining its soundproofing properties without liquefying, softening, or breaking.

ISOLfon-Barrier, due to its elastoplastic mass, when placed between rigid sheets such as drywall, reduces the phenomenon of dip at the resonance frequency, offering better soundproofing capability in this frequency range. Its high surface mass reflects annoying noises and increases the overall soundproofing capability in structural applications such as walls, ceilings, and floors.
