The essential oil of frankincense is obtained from the resins of the Boswellia frereana plant through hydro-distillation. It is known as Maydi "the king of all frankincenses." It has a fresh, deep, woody, and resinous aroma. It is renowned for its invigorating, captivating, earthy scent.

Safe use: Do not use essential oils on the body. Use a carrier oil such as almond oil, jojoba, etc., and mix in a ratio of 10ml (carrier oil) to up to 5 drops of essential oil. All essential oils are quite irritating to the skin and should be avoided by pregnant women and children under 5 years old, while individuals with heart conditions and hypertension should use them with caution and medical advice. Do not expose yourself to the sun when you have used any citrus essential oil (Lemon, Orange, etc.) for 12 hours as they cause skin irritations and photosensitivity.
