The "f" revision subwoofers are specifically designed for improved thermal transfer. The dual-stage aluminum heat sink works to transfer heat away from the soft parts, allowing cool air to flow through the Free Flow Cooling System.

As the thickness of the top plate increases, the voice coil winding is extended to keep more coil wire in the gap, optimizing electrical performance.

Taller Surrounds

The increase in Xmax requires improvements in the moving system, with taller surrounds and a refined spider to optimize the new motor design.
