Technical Specifications
The copper tubular terminals from the DIN series (galvanized) comply with the DIN 46235 standard and are suitable for crimping. They allow for the termination of copper conductors and are used where a cable connection is required, such as in distribution boards, busbars, or other devices via screw terminals. The use of DIN terminals increases the safety and durability of such connections. Unlike welded connections, the use of terminals reduces the risk of overheating of the conductors and insulation. The terminals undergo an additional hardening and annealing process at a temperature of 700°C, which removes all impurities from the material. Hardened terminals are less prone to breaking during crimping.
The material is electrolytic copper (according to EN13600), with a minimum tinning thickness of 3μm. The dimensions comply with the DIN 46235 standard.
