The PGP FAUX WOOD FINISH is the final coating that gives the surface the appearance of wood. It easily applies over the PGP FAUX WOOD PRIMER substrate and offers excellent adhesion and coverage, with a glossy finish. It is used on all types of hard surfaces and is available in 6 different shades.

APPLICATIONS

• Ideal solution for renewing old or worn surfaces, providing the beauty and warmth of the wood appearance.
• Can be applied on metal surfaces, MDF, particle board, melamine, wooden and plastic surfaces, drywall, concrete, plaster, etc.

Surface Preparation

• Surfaces must be dry and clean, free from foreign materials (rust, oils, grease, salts, dust).
• New wooden surfaces: must be sanded with sandpaper and dust removed.
• Painted surfaces: if the old substrates are in good condition, they do not need to be removed. If they show problems, remove them with a solvent and smooth the surfaces.
• Metal and glossy surfaces: Remove gloss with sandpaper to improve adhesion.
• Apply 1 or 2 coats of PGP FAUX WOOD PRIMER with a brush to create the background. Allow the surface to dry for 24 hours.

Application

• Stir the material well before and during use.
• Apply the first coat of PGP FAUX WOOD FINISH with a brush using long strokes. Allow the surface to dry for 12 hours.
• Apply the second coat and use the special PGP WOOD REPLICA tool to create knots and the unique patterns of wood. Allow the surface to dry for 12 hours.
• For better protection, you can apply a third coat of clear varnish over the entire surface.

Coverage: 12 - 16 m2/Lt

Dilution: up to 5% with white spirit

Application: with a brush and the special PGP WOOD REPLICA tool

Initial drying: 2 - 3 hours at 20°C

Final drying: 12 hours at 20°C

For both exterior and interior use

Application temperature: 10°C - 35°C

Cleaning: with white spirit
