The 8x Pattex FIX Wood 385g set is a professional, single-component adhesive for interior use. It creates a permanent bond with a wide range of materials, replacing screws, nails, dowels, or other adhesives during the installation of walls and bases, panels, cornices, decorative plates, decorative profiles, wooden strips, signs, etc.

Application method:
  • Carefully clean the surfaces to be bonded of dust, dirt, rust, oil, and substances that reduce the adhesion of the adhesive. If the substrate has irregularities, it should be leveled. One of the bonded surfaces must be absorbent.
  • Cut the end of the cartridge just above the thread. The dispensing tip should be cut at an angle. Insert the cartridge into a special gun.
  • Apply the adhesive in lines or spots on the surface or material to be bonded. Do not apply the adhesive directly to the edges.
  • Bond while the adhesive is still wet (approximately 15 minutes, depending on the absorbency of the substrate). Once the item is properly positioned, press it firmly to ensure a proper bond. For materials that are under tension or heavy, they should be supported or immobilized for about 8-24 hours.
  • Fresh spots should be cleaned immediately after use with a dry cloth, followed by acetone or paint thinner. Cured material can only be removed mechanically.
  • Depending on the surfaces to which items are bonded, heavy objects may need to be supported for at least 24 hours.
