Florus is one of the classic DOC wines from the renowned Montalcino growing region of Tuscany. It is a rare masterpiece of aromatic expression and acidity. It is produced from Moscadello grapes that dry naturally on the vine until mid-October and then ferment slowly until an alcohol content of 14-15% is achieved. About 20% of the wine ages for one year in French oak barrels and then is blended with the remainder in stainless steel.

Exceptional aromatic variety with intense notes of dried apricot, honey, and candied orange. On the palate, the residual sugars are perfectly balanced with the acidity, and the aftertaste is persistent and silky with hints of almond and honey.

Food pairing:

  • Ideal with crispy pastries such as Cantucci
  • Complementary to aged and mature cheeses
