How to Properly Perform a Gel Manicure?

• Before starting the process, thoroughly disinfect your hands and the client’s hands with disinfectant liquid and properly prepare the workspace.
• Use a file with the appropriate grit to shape the nails, gently buff the nail plate with a buffing block, and, if necessary, work on the cuticles.
• Wipe the nail plate with a cotton pad moistened with cleanser. Primer can also be used.
• Apply a thin layer of gel base and cure for 30 seconds in an LED lamp or 2 minutes in a UV lamp.
• On the cured base, apply gel polish in the selected shade and cure for 30 seconds in an LED lamp or 2 minutes in a UV lamp. This step can be repeated for a more intense color.
• Next, apply a thin layer of top coat and cure for 30 seconds in an LED lamp or 2 minutes in a UV lamp. Depending on the type of top coat, it may need to be wiped with cleanser.
• For better care, we recommend applying cuticle oil around the nails.
