How to correctly perform a semi-permanent manicure?

• Before starting the process, thoroughly disinfect your hands and the client's hands with a disinfectant solution and prepare the workspace accordingly.
• Use a file with the right cut to shape the nails, lightly buff the nail plate with a file, and, if necessary, treat the cuticles.
• Wipe the nail plate with a cotton pad soaked in cleanser. A primer may also be used.
• Apply a thin layer of semi-permanent base and dry for 30 seconds under a LED lamp or 2 minutes under a UV lamp.
• On top of the dried base, apply the semi-permanent polish in the chosen shade and dry for 30 seconds under a LED lamp or 2 minutes under a UV lamp. This process can be repeated for a more intense color.
