Description & Specifications

The Discovery line of optical products, manufactured by Levenhuk and approved by Discovery, includes the Discovery Spark 769 EQ telescope. This is a Newtonian telescope with a spherical mirror, ideal for beginners who want to explore deep space objects such as nebulae, star clusters, and distant galaxies. The ability to observe nearby bodies like the Moon and the planets of the Solar System is also available.

The optical tube of the telescope is manually controlled via an equatorial mount with slow-motion control knobs, making it easy to track objects in the sky without losing the field of view. The glass optical elements of the telescope feature a special anti-reflective coating that significantly enhances light transmission and image quality. Celestial bodies appear clear and sharp.

The sturdy aluminum tripod helps stabilize the telescope in the observation position, and its height can be adjusted according to the user. The accessory tray in the center can store additional optical lenses, mounting elements, and more.
