The Dell PowerConnect RPS-600 offers enterprise-level redundant power for select PowerConnect 3000 and 5000 switches. It contains four independent 150 W power stations. The RPS-600 eliminates switch power as a single point of failure and supports up to four PowerConnect switches. In the event of a power supply failure of a switch, the RPS-600 will supply power to the connected switch and keep it operational. Each connected switch is powered by one of the four 150 W power stations of the RPS-600. The LEDs on the front panel indicate whether the unit is in standby mode or supplying power to a switch with a failed power supply. The RPS-600 is rack-compatible and occupies only 1U of rack space. Power cables for supporting up to four switches and rack mounting kit are included.
