THEOBORO is a liquid organic Boron fertilizer that supplies plants with Boron. Boron is an essential micronutrient for plant growth. It is found in cell membranes as a borate ester, in the form of a cis-diol boron complex. The formation of these complexes affects the reaction receptors of enzymes in the cell membranes, influencing the deposition of lignin in the cell walls and the differentiation of the woody tissue of the shoots. Boron plays a regulatory role in stabilizing the elements that make up the cell walls and cell membranes. Boron deficiency has a direct impact on the growth/development of the plant as well as its root system. Boron is involved in the metabolism of phenols, forming strong borate esters through the reaction of boric and phenolic acids. It is also fruit-setting and provides uniformity in fruit size.
