APPLICATION AREAS

• The BIOCASA Trowel is a smoothing material with breathability capabilities, particularly suitable for the smooth finishing of plastered surfaces on walls.
• The strictly natural origin of its ingredients ensures fundamental parameters of porosity, hygroscopicity, and wettability.
• Suitable for smoothing natural breathability in Historical Restoration.
• Not to be used on dirty, non-cohesive, and crumbling substrates.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

• The substrate must be clean and solid.
• Always wet the substrates before proceeding with smoothing.
• The BIOCASA Trowel is prepared by mixing 1 bag of 20 kg with approximately 10 liters of clean water.
• The mixing is done until a homogeneous mixture free of lumps is achieved.
• It is easily applied with a metal trowel, using pressure to ensure adhesion.

• Type of mix: smoothing mix for indoor/outdoor use.
• Chemical nature of the binding material: pure Natural Hydraulic Lime NHL3.5.
• Granulometric grading: 0 – 200 pm.
• Apparent density of powder: = 0.871 kg/dm³.
• Storage: ~ 12 months in a dry place.
• Packaging: bags of 20 kg.
• Mixing water: ~ 10 liters for 1 bag of 20 kg.
• Maximum thickness: = 2 mm.
• Coverage: = 1 kg/m² for each mm of thickness.
