The MONTVAL® paper was designed by the painter Gaspard Maillol, nephew of the sculptor Aristide Maillol, and manufactured by CANSON® in the early 20th century. Since then, the material has evolved significantly.

Features:

• ACID-FREE, with excellent longevity.
• Special treatment against “mold” without bleaching chemicals.
• Suitable for “Wet” techniques by Fine Arts students.
• Easy to use and correct, washable even with a wet brush.
• Available with a medium texture (Cold Pressed) or “snowy” texture (snowy grain).
• Suitable for Watercolors, Tempera, and Acrylics.
