The MONTVAL® paper was designed by the painter Gaspard Maillol, nephew of the sculptor Aristide Maillol, and manufactured by CANSON® in the early 20th century. Since then, the material has evolved significantly.

- ACID-FREE, with excellent longevity.
- Special treatment against “mold” without bleaching chemicals.
- Suitable for “Wet” techniques by Fine Arts students.
- Easy to use and correct, washable even with a wet brush.
- Available with a medium texture (Cold Pressed) or “snowy” texture (snowy grain).
