Molykote 111 is a lubricating and sealing paste with good resistance to most chemicals and excellent water resistance.

Composition:

• Silicone oil
• Inorganic thickener
• Additives

Characteristics:

• Wide operating temperature range (-40ºC to 200ºC)
• Low vapor pressure
• Low volatility
• Excellent water resistance

Applications:

• Lubrication of connection and pressure control valves, as well as valves for water softeners and faucets.
• Sealant for pressure and vacuum systems.
• Sealant for outdoor installation equipment (also for boat decks) exposed to water and harsh environmental conditions: meters, electric service entrance conduits, and underground connections.
• Damping medium for detuning potentiometers in electrical and electronic equipment.
• Chemical barrier coating.
• Used as an anti-seize and sealant for transformer and equipment box joints. Prevents o-ring sticking to metal and is weather and water stripping resistant.
• Rubber and plastic gaskets, rings, and seals.
