Werstahl boilers are made of steel, with three-pass flue gas paths and flame return in the combustion chamber. The steel used is 4mm thick of excellent quality ST37-2.
The third pass of the flue gases is through seamless MANNESMANN type flue tubes ST35 with strict German specifications DIN4702.
The majority of the heat is transferred to the water by radiation. This is achieved by the return of the flame - flue gases to the same combustion chamber, so that the main flame, due to the second pass surrounding it, is at a distance from the walls of the flue tube.
In this way, we have a uniform distribution of the load on the heated surfaces (flue tube - combustion chamber - tubes - mirrors).
