The fishing reel Sunset Suniwa SW 4505 FD is a new addition to the heavy-duty spinning reel series launched by the French manufacturer SUNSET. This reel incorporates the latest technologies and materials and has been designed in collaboration with the renowned Japanese reel manufacturer Ryobi.
The reel features a lightweight yet robust construction, with a body made from the innovative material NCRT, a strong alloy of metal and polymers. Despite its low weight, the reels are durable with an estimated lifespan of many seasons. Inside the body, there are 5 stainless steel ball bearings that provide smooth operation of the mechanism.
The SUNIWA is equipped with a precise micrometric drag system with carbon washers, delivering more than 8kg of pure braking power. This progressive drag system allows personalized adjustment for specific fishing conditions. The strong drag lock is located under a durable, attractive aluminum spool that can hold up to 165 meters of 0.33mm line.
The reel features ISS (Infinite Stop System) technology on the main gears and a spool made from ultra-durable CNC-machined stainless steel, ensuring long-lasting smoothness and precision. It also includes an oversized pickup and a titanium-coated roller. The manual bail release function prevents accidental closures during casting, while the soft handle is very comfortable, attached to an aluminum handle with a knurled grip that can be switched from left to right retrieve.
