Master Perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin has chosen a high-tailored material from Sandalwood, which exudes creamy, amber, and slightly sweet notes. The leather facet of the wood is enhanced by a velvety suede accord, while the pure, smooth cedar structures the rich notes. Hints of precious incense emphasize this serene atmosphere of artistry and craftsmanship.
The inspiration comes from the historic return of the house of Yves Saint Laurent to the private mansion of the 17th century, Hôtel de Sénecterre. The building, designed by Thomas Gobert, previously housed a Ministry and is a space of creativity where collections are designed and brought to life.
