UNIDELTA ELECTRODE CONNECTOR – 32x1 GZ
The connector is used for connecting polyethylene pipes for transporting gas at a pressure of up to 10 bar or for drinking water and liquids with a nominal pressure of up to 16 bar. It is compatible with PE80 and PE100 pipes. Thanks to the quality of the raw materials used, Unidelta connections are resistant to a large number of chemical agents and UV radiation.

The Unidelta connector can be used with high-density polyethylene pipes PE80 or PE100 with the following characteristics: SDR≤ for all diameters, SDR=17 for diameters >32mm, SDR=26 for diameters >125mm.

A metal coil is placed near the inner surface of the connector to optimize heat transfer between the pipe and the connector, reducing the welding time. Polyethylene pipes and connectors can be welded using the electrofusion method or by socket welding. In any case, the welding process must follow a defined procedure, taking into account certain key concepts regarding the compatibility of different materials. Since PE80 and PE100 are fully compatible, pipes made from different materials can be welded, provided they have the same dimension ratio (SDR) and thus the same wall thickness.
