ZeroBorder. The pinnacle of technology and art

The C8K reshapes the traditional look of LED TVs. The panel is made from customized high-quality materials, while adopting the world's first architecture and personalized precision manufacturing process. By limiting the black borders, the field of view is wider and the viewing experience becomes immersive.

Behind the fourth generation of TCL LED TVs lies a dual revolution in technology and process

TCL pioneers the discovery of the limitless display of the television industry through innovative technology and design. Through self-developed architecture, customized materials, and optimization as well as upgrading the entire production process, TCL not only ensures an exceptional screen effect but also offers a top-notch visual experience with a "nearly zero black bezel," achieving an elegant appearance.

CrystGlow WHVA Panel

The CrystGlow WHVA Panel is a further upgrade of CSOT's HVA technology. It maintains an exceptionally high native contrast ratio of up to 7,000:1 and features virtually ZeroBorder for an unlimited viewing experience. Additionally, it is equipped with a 0.5% low-reflection film for effective reduction of screen glare. Combined with an improved 40% ultra-wide color viewing angle and high energy-saving capabilities, the details on the screen are sharp and clear.

QD-Mini LED. QLED with Mini LED

TCL's QD-Mini LED combines the advantages of QLED and OLED technologies, transforming traditional backlighting into lighting that approaches pixel-level precision. It also uses the world's leading QLED technology, offering contrast and color gamut comparable to OLED, while also providing higher peak brightness and longer lifespan. This represents the future of large screen display technology.

Precise Dimming Series up to 3840 Zones

The Precise Dimming series refers to Mini LED TVs with all-domain halo control technology. The new generation of powerful light-emitting chips, the ultra-condensed Micro lens, and the Micro-OD make the light shape of individual zones more perfect, and the halo control capability is multiple times that of ordinary zones. Combined with the CSOT HVA panel technology with a higher native contrast ratio and the world's leading light and shadow control algorithm, the Precise Dimming series shapes true light and shadow, so that the comprehensive picture quality performance of the TV is dramatically improved compared to ordinary TVs, bringing a luxurious image experience.

Halo All-domain Control Technology TCL

The TCL halo all-domain control technology covers the entire path from light creation to imaging, incorporating high-performance light-emitting chips and self-developed lens technology, combined with Micro-OD, light and shadow control algorithms, and TCL's unique self-produced high-tech CSOT HVA Panel technology. Through precise light control at the system level, it effectively solves the halo problem and offers a top-notch viewing experience.

Super Condensed Micro Lens.

TCL's ultra-condensed microlens technology, developed independently, precisely controls the direction of light through the arc bridge dimming design. The selection of nano-optical materials with greater plasticity forms a golden curvature with super focusing properties on light and precisely controls the light point by point, significantly improving the uniformity of the backlight and halo control capabilities, making image details clearer.

Micro-OD

Better picture quality, slimmer body

With TCL's powerful Mini LED optical technology, the T8C offers a stunning Micro-OD. It not only provides a thinner TV unit but also significantly reduces the Mini LED halo issue by working with the highly condensed microlens and ultra-high zone, giving stars in the night sky a deep, subtle, and sharp appearance.

Dynamic Bionic Lighting Algorithm

Enriched dark and bright details, more realistic image reproduction

In combination with human perception characteristics and image pixel information, lighting details are optimized for SDR and HDR signals, while details and contrast of bright and dark scenes are significantly improved. Enjoy more realistic lighting effects of streaming media resources on the TCL TV.

Transitional Response

Elimination of ghosting for greater clarity

The transitional response can prevent dark shadows, bright spots, and lag caused by backlight delay in the cinematic image. It makes the cinematic image sharper and enhances your viewing experience.

Coming from a Samsung Oled S95C which broke down after two years, I have to say that this TV is amazing.

Purchase of 65'' in December 2025 for a professional space.. Excellent colors and very powerful sound (you can even use it without a soundbar)... its blacks and brightness are much higher quality than the Sony Bravia 7 I have at home.. highly recommended... it is somewhat expensive but if you find it at a good price then it is a value-for-money purchase..

Display looks great! Build quality is ok. For this price you can’t beat these specs.

But, just like all TCL TVs as up today, the OS is a buggy mess. The smartphone app is half baked too.

It comes dangerously close to OLED in terms of black levels, especially with Dolby Vision content which looks stunning. The colors are also wonderful, and the sound is amazing for a TV. If I didn’t already have a home cinema, there would be no need for an additional audio system.

It should be noted that it was purchased on Black Friday for about €1,100 for the 65-inch model. Its full price seems excessive to me (€2,000 at the time of purchase), however, I highly recommend it if you find it on a good offer.

I’m coming back after months to say that it’s still wonderful. I have it in a fairly bright living room, but the TV’s brightness goes up a lot so light or reflections have never been a problem.

The operating system is also quite fast, the remote has few buttons but is high-quality and metallic, and it has backlighting on the buttons so they are visible in the dark.

There are plenty of options for customizing the picture, however, the smoothing for motion interpolation isn’t particularly good. It seems to add frames and sometimes in abrupt movements the motion doesn’t match the content, e.g., in sports.

Overall, it’s a very good purchase, even value for money I would say for the picture quality it offers. It won’t disappoint if your budget allows for it.

The picture of the TV is indescribable
Perfect picture!!! After Sony, Philips, LG, you hesitate a bit to go for TCL, regardless of the fact that TCL has evolved a lot in recent years, but because I have been researching for quite some time, I have seen many tests on the internet and since everyone writes the best things about this TV, I finally decided to buy it. So far I am very satisfied.
It is fully modern, it has everything!! And many settings. Super picture, super blacks!!!

I got the 75" TCL C8K. After a lot of searching and many reviews, I ended up with this one. It is one of the three best mini LED TVs currently on the market. It compares to the Son Brav.. 9 which costs double and more. The TV has an incredible, fantastic picture with perfect blacks... it's very close to OLEDs... some people might not even notice the difference. The TV has good build quality, good sound, a very beautiful, illuminated, and high-quality remote control... It has a lot of settings. Mini LED TVs have a longer lifespan than OLEDs (if all goes well). OLEDs are more sensitive (screen image freezing, etc.). And because the TV will be on for many hours every day, I chose the Mini LED... But I wanted a Mini LED that has very good blacks like an OLED... That's why I chose this one, because it has a fantastic picture and perfect blacks. I was very satisfied... Even though I am a perfectionist, I did not expect this TV to have such a perfect picture. Buy it with your eyes closed!!!

This review is about the size: 65 "

Coming from an LG Oled CX, the contrast and 3D feeling are inferior, as is the response in games. If your usage is mostly gaming, then Oled is the only way to go.

Now, moving on to the C8K: very good packaging, amazing build quality with an aluminum frame and sturdy base which has 2 height positions, remote control with aluminum appearance and night lighting (finally).

Google TV menu is very fast, no lag even after heavy use, the built-in player plays everything so far, all HDMI ports are 144Hz, the first one is eARC.

The panel is not matte but semi-glossy, so it loses in some areas and gains in others. It's not like the Samsung QDoleds that turn purple when light hits them, it's not like the LG Woleds that are like a mirror, and it's not matte like the S95F which raises the blacks, it's somewhere in between, but with such brightness, it doesn't matter much.

The default profile is Standard with eco settings on, so I set it to Movie, and Filmmaker is good, it has motion smoothness off so there is stutter, Movie is set to Low and I prefer it.

Personally, after some research, I set the profile to SDR MOVIE and changed the following: BRIGHTNESS 50, Dynamic contrast off, Peak Luminance Off, all Clarity OFF, Motion Smoothness Low, and of course Dynamic BRIGHTNESS OFF.

If it seems dark to you, just change Peak Luminance from off to Standard, and if you want more, then High.

In HDR I set Movie and only changed Clarity all Off as well as Dynamic Contrast off.

In Dolby Vision I have Dolby Vision IQ and changed Motion Smoothness to Low, also always all Clarity off.

The picture is wonderful, the brightness is unreal, and only the S95 and G5 can compete with it in HDR Impact from Oled.

Motion at 24 frames is fine, not like the Sony Xh95 I had, but quite good.

The upscale in poor quality movies is also good, again not like the Sony Xh95 but at LG CX levels.

Viewing angles, even though they say the new panel has improvement, the truth is there is very little difference, it's at the level of Samsung Qled, so if you plan to watch from an angle, forget it, get Oled.

When you sit straight, there is no blooming at all, in general there are moments that remind you of Oled.

As for whether Mini LED technology is more durable than Oled... time will tell.

At this price and if you sit straight, it's a good choice if you watch in a very bright living room (that was the reason I chose it). And since the higher S95f and G5 are much more expensive... I had no other choice.

  • Coming from a Samsung Oled S95C which broke down after two years, I have to say that this TV is amazing.

  • Purchase of 65'' in December 2025 for a professional space.. Excellent colors and very powerful sound (you can even use it without a soundbar)... its blacks and brightness are much higher quality than the Sony Bravia 7 I have at home.. highly recommended... it is somewhat expensive but if you find it at a good price then it is a value-for-money purchase..

  • Display looks great! Build quality is ok. For this price you can’t beat these specs.

But, just like all TCL TVs as up today, the OS is a buggy mess. The smartphone app is half baked too.

  • It comes dangerously close to OLED in terms of black levels, especially with Dolby Vision content which looks stunning.

  • The picture of the TV is indescribable
Perfect picture!!! After Sony, Philips, LG, you hesitate a bit to go for TCL, regardless of the fact that TCL has evolved a lot in recent years, but because I have been researching for quite some time, I have seen many tests on the internet and since everyone writes the best things about this TV, I finally decided to buy it. So far I am very satisfied.
It is fully modern, it has everything!! And many settings. Super picture, super blacks!!!
