Urekor S is a corrosion-resistant primer suitable for steel and non-ferrous metal elements. It protects against corrosion, dries quickly, and adheres excellently to substrates. Urekor S consists of a suspension of pigments and fillers in a phthalic resin solution with a mixture of organic solvents, supplemented with leveling and auxiliary agents.

It offers fast-drying, matte, flexible finishes that adhere perfectly to the substrate, with hardness appropriate for its specific use. Its use is recommended as a primer under the following topcoats: phthalic, modified phthalic, and nitrocellulose paints and varnishes.

Surface preparation: Surfaces intended for painting must be cleaned to class 20 according to PN-70/H-97050. New surfaces should be free of rust and other contaminants. For renovated surfaces, loose layers of old paint, rust, and other impurities must be removed. Clean surfaces should be degreased with extraction gasoline.

Product preparation: Stir the paint well. If necessary, thin it to factory viscosity with a solvent suitable for phthalic, urethane-based, chlorinated rubber, or polyvinyl products.

Painting: Apply with a brush or pneumatic spray. It is recommended to apply 1-2 coats depending on the aggressiveness of the corrosive environment. Apply the next coat after 4-6 hours. Apply the topcoats after 24 hours of drying or according to the recommendations for the topcoat paint, except for nitrocellulose and chlorinated rubber paints, which should be applied at least 72 hours after the primer paint has dried.
