PEUGEOT mills have been used in kitchens worldwide for almost 200 years, making them iconic in French cuisine. The majority of the production process takes place at the PEUGEOT factory in Quingey, located in the Doubs department of Burgundy. Thanks to complete production control, the grinding mechanisms of the mills are covered by a lifetime warranty. PEUGEOT mills use patented grinding mechanisms for various types of spices. Salt mills are suitable for grinding coarse, sea, and rock salt. Pepper mills feature a special mechanism with spiral blades, ensuring proper feeding and grinding of the peppercorns. The grinding amount in PEUGEOT mills can be adjusted through traditional smooth adjustment or, in the case of mills with the uSelect mechanism, by selecting one of 6 grinding levels. Peugeot's responsible ecological policy ensures that the wood used for the production of the mills is PEFC certified and mainly sourced from local forests in the Franche-Comté region, while only solvent-free paints are used for the surface of the bodies.
