AQUAFOREST HYBRID PRO SALT

Hybrid Pro Salt is the most advanced aquarium salt formula. Many years of observing aquariums maintained with natural sea water or pure laboratory salt have led Aquaforest to create a hybrid salt that combines the advantages of both methods. To meet the demands of modern aquaculture and the most sensitive marine organisms, the unique formula has been enriched with probiotic bacteria.

The elemental composition of the Hybrid Pro Salt mixture has been determined in collaboration with top chemists and biologists, based on the natural environment of corals. For this purpose, water samples were taken from natural coral reefs in Egypt, Kenya, Indonesia, and Fiji. This enabled Aquaforest to ensure that the parameters resulting after the sea water preparation perfectly meet the needs of even the most demanding corals. Unlike the ocean, an aquarium is a closed system where the consumption of certain elements occurs much faster. For this reason, the manufacturer decided to increase the levels of the most commonly consumed trace elements, such as strontium and iodine.

• Dosage and Storage:
• Hybrid Pro Salt should be dissolved in RODI water at a temperature of 24-25°C.
• To achieve a salinity of 33 ppt (1.025 SG), dissolve 390 g in 10 liters of RODI water.
• Stir the solution vigorously for about 15 minutes. After complete dissolution and achieving full clarity, the seawater is ready for use.
• Use the prepared seawater within 3 days. Evaporation changes the water parameters, so store the prepared seawater in a tightly sealed container. If stored for several days, check the salinity before use.
• Store the salt in a tightly closed container in a dry and shady place.

Additional Information:

To facilitate the growth of probiotic bacteria, it is recommended to maintain dKH at 7.5-8.5. Higher or lower levels may reduce bacterial activity. When setting up new aquariums, it is recommended to introduce the first animals not earlier than 10-14 days after filling the tank.
