Historical information and plant morphology: Organic thyme (Thymus vulgaris) is an aromatic, perennial shrub belonging to the Lamiaceae family. It originates from the Mediterranean region and has been known since ancient times for its use in medicine and cooking. The name thyme comes from the Greek word "thymos" (spirit, disposition).

  • Digestive system support: Helps with stomach and intestinal problems due to its content of thymol, a natural antiseptic and antibacterial substance.
  • Relief from cough and flu symptoms: Contains volatile oils that soothe the lungs and reduce cough irritation.
  • Nervous stimulation: Enhances the nervous system, provides mental clarity, and helps relieve anxiety and mental fatigue.
  • Anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial action: Effective for skin conditions such as rheumatic inflammations and hair loss.
