If something happens, you can open it from the outside with your key as long as the cylinder you installed is Emergency Function / BSZ

Essentially, you leave your key on the inside of the door and the mechanism attaches to your key

For the black one, the Ultra
You do not need a cylinder, as it is included and has Emergency Function / BSZ, so you can again open it from the outside with your key. The cylinder fits ALL doors in all sizes, as it has extensions so that if needed you can lengthen the cylinder

So far, very good, easy to install, and convenient for locking the door whenever you want from a distance.
