  • One star for a very good axe !!!!! Forged German carbon steel, German handle too, also branded. I found it for half the price without a leather protective sheath. But.... it was supposedly handmade by the Greek craftsman Ampatzidis. At least that’s how it’s advertised.
I have absolutely nothing to gain, but from Scandinavia, an orange axe, it also has a wooden handle...... for a little more money, and it’s amazing. So the one above is simply good.
    Second day!!!!
I’m still looking into its origin and manufacturer.
I tried it. It isn’t bad.
But 60+ seems like a lot to me. I’d pay more for a Hultafors, which is considered top-notch for good reason. For a serious user in the forest and not a toy for the garden, I don’t think so. It bites reasonably well, but it’s too thin and gets stuck, blunts at the cheeks.
