Very nice and heavy speakers, I didn't expect that. The sound is excellent coming from the outdated Creative Inspire P380 2.1, no comparison at all. For the bass at low volume, it doesn't do much, but if you set it normally and loud, it does the job. I also liked that you can adjust the volume, the bass, and the tweak directly from the back, and they are not visible on the sides. For the living room, they are just fine, and the external glossy appearance, I got the black ones... but I got them for the office (movies, music, etc.). They consume less than 0.5 w in standby mode (I emailed the company because they don't mention it anywhere).

Awesome! Very good, powerful, and they open up instantly. Other reviews analyze in depth, and I suggest you read them! Having had the (terrible) Creative Sound Blaster X Kratos S5 for quite a while, which drained my soul by turning on and off by themselves and sounding "muffled" at random times, and finally their software not being able to update, the Edifiers are truly a breath of fresh air. The only downside (if one can call it that) is that the on/off and volume button is not in a convenient spot. It's right at the back, and you have to feel around for it, unlike the R1280T that my brother got, which have them on the side. Now you control everything with the remote, which took me about 2-3 days to get used to. They are connected to a desktop with the optical option

My main speakers are some famous ones that cost around 3000 - 3500€. With the build quality of Edifier, you simply stay with your mouth open (for 250€)! Their sound (from 60hz to 18000hz) is truly impeccable!

Loud, crystal clear, and with a lot of bass. I have them on my TV. I was torn between these and a soundbar. I'm happy with my choice. The remote could be better. I mention it because if you use the speakers with optical fiber, you'll be using it quite a bit.

The speakers are great for music and movies! I placed them on floor stands in a space of about 30 sqm and they are more than enough!! The Bluetooth connects perfectly, but it doesn't have the intensity that they provide with RCA. Overall, I am very satisfied!!

They are worth every euro someone will spend to buy them.

The quality comes close to the amplifier and passive speakers I had before.

You choose self-amplified speakers for music when you want to save the cost of an amplifier.
Even with a preamp and speakers, you are ready for a minimal system.
They are very good for their money, with many connectivity options, but they don't have wifi or headphone output.
Each speaker performs better when the pair and the listener, where they choose to sit usually, form an equilateral triangle.
Also, the tweeters should be at head height and you are fine for any space.
And if you lose the remote, all actions can be done from the buttons at the back, always read the manual.

Without being an expert, my speakers seem very good. Good build quality, without trembling at full volume (which you never reach in an apartment building).

On the downside, the remote control is a joke and it doesn't have input options from the speaker, so if you lose the remote control, you're in trouble.

As for volume... you can easily throw a party.
As for sound... it's on the "colored" side, not flat. Personally, I really like it and it doesn't tire you out after hours of listening.
Appearance up close... the photos don't do it justice. The piano black is very nice.
Negatives... what can I say, I would have liked the equalizer settings on the remote but it's a small difference for me.

It's worth mentioning that I also have the Edifier R1700BT and this one is like its stronger and bassier sibling.
In the photo, the placement I've made is on a floor stand. Even so, I feel the vibration from the bass even at normal listening levels.

After really a month of searching and after watching almost all the videos on YouTube, I had ended up with the edifier r1700bt, which costs around 115. At some point, my eye caught the r2000db and I thought, let me check it out because I saw that it has 120 watts, a large woofer, and a good price. Without further ado, I chose this one and I am truly satisfied. Very good build quality, almost to the point where you'd think you stole them, very good highs, amazing bass, and decent mids. If your budget can reach this point, invest without fear. It's interesting that one time I turned it up to the max and the bass hit me in the chest (!). I have it in my office connected to the computer, but I also connect it via Bluetooth to my phone (both have very good sound cards, MSI Tomahawk Max and iPhone 11). For me, invest without fear and finally treat yourself to some quality sound

Quality speakers that enhance the rest of the computer space, their settings need a little tweaking to give some color to the sound (0 bass+0 treble or -2 bass and -2 treble), it is better to connect them optically, with a regular cable the sound is dull and place them at the correct distances to achieve their potential. In some videos on YouTube, there is some static sound in the left speaker when switching to another video, etc., using the optical connection at intervals. It wouldn't hurt to include a higher quality optical fiber cable in the package.

Those who truly get them for music and know will regret it just like I did, once again falling for their "crazy" ratings.
Except for their construction quality and the accessories provided by the company (including optical fiber), there is nothing positive.
Their sound is really bad, free intensity without any bass, treble or midrange, NOTHING, just a jumble I hear. If I were to rate only the sound, which I should do properly so as not to mislead with my review, I would give it one star.
At least try to listen to them somewhere before you buy them (something I didn't do)

Awesome speakers. The only negative thing is that something is wrong with the drivers when connected to Win10 and the volume cannot be adjusted from the Windows volume control, only from the player (e.g. Winamp). They work fine on a tablet/smartphone.

To fix the volume issue with Windows 10, follow these steps:
1. Open up Registry Editor (regedit.exe)
2. Go to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Bluetooth\Audio\AVRCP\CT
3. If there is an entry called DisableAbsoluteVolume, change its value to 1.
4. If there is no entry, create one with that name and value - right click, then select New, then DWORD.
5. Restart your computer.

I bought them today and they really pleasantly surprised me. They perform perfectly at all frequencies, they are quite powerful, they have very good build quality, and they cover me in terms of inputs. In fact, I have them on my onboard sound card, let alone if I put them on a good card. Advice, when you get them, try listening to flac, no comparison to mp3. If you have a little more money and space, get the 2730, if that's the case, these others will have to break. I used to have the Logitech x-530 5.1, I don't think the multimedia ones were worth it again, these are very good for both music and games.

Excellent purchase! Very satisfied with the quality of both sound and construction, without being an expert of course. I would prefer only the bass, treble, and volume adjustment buttons to be on the front.

Excellent choice, rich clean sound with a very full bass even when turned up to the maximum, the speakers are incredibly good and very nicely designed with very good construction. I have them for my PC and I am thinking of getting them for my TV as well.

Excellent, warm sound in all music genres, especially in blues, jazz, rock. Easy connection with Bluetooth, it comes with all the necessary cables for optical & RCA connection. Excellent construction, beautiful speakers. The telecontrol could be bigger, higher quality, and more readable. Unbeatable price, great value for money. Go for it!

Value for money speakers, I have connected them only through a small preamplifier, my turntable and the neighbors are very satisfied... :)
