The olive tree is dual-purpose with a high fruit-to-oil yield ratio ranging from 3:1 to 5:1. It is hardy and disease-resistant. Another advantage is its resistance to very low temperatures, down to -17°C. It is a local variety, very well adapted to the environment of northern Greece.
